I was reading Yen+ magazine a few months back, and I found a manga that I fell in love with: Soul Eater. The concept is (correct me if I'm wrong) that there are students at a school called Death Weapon Meister Acadamy, or DWMA for short. Some of the students train to become Death's personal weapon via transformation and collecting souls of the departed. Others train to become "Meisters," which help develop the "weapons" and collect souls. One of the main characters, Soul Eater, is a scythe weapon, and is supposed to become the ultimate weapon by eating 99 souls and the soul of a witch. I was hoping to find out if anyone else had read, or even heard of, this manga and to see if anyone may have heard of development of an anime version of Soul Eater.

My ex got me into Soul Eater, but I stopped watching after we broke up. Hes managed to finish the anime, but Im still waiting for the manga release in the UK.
Its such a funny, well thought out anime with great characters and brilliant plot. I love Maka, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, and Patty and Liz Thompson. Death himself is awesome also and Blair is <3 lol.
