I have been developing a social network written in PHP since October 2010. RingRong is a social network for those who are tired of the usual (Facebook, MySpace, etc.). The social network revolves around circles. The site is still in beta, but will soon see a final release.

More or less. The circles are like a mix of Facebook friends and Twitter followers. G+ is really no different than any other social networking site. And there's a lot of those now.

I like the fade effects when you click on login or register, it's really pretty

Well it makes it easier to share information with only certain friends, as well as better chat system. It is not the advent of social networking though, in my opinion
