Um....well i didn't see a thread for this already so I decided to create one.

So what does everyone think of the band? You like em? Hate em? Why?

I for one really like this band. I believe they are a great Nu-Metal band.

My favorite of their albums is probably the self titled album cause it has most of their greatest songs.

My favorite songs from them are:

Left Behind

and Eyeless.
 
Ah, the big debate, whether Slipknot are nu-metal or not....meh. I like 'em either way. I'd buy the Disasterpiece DVD were it not still so damn expensive for some reason. Iowa is probably my favourite of the three albums, it was so intense it blew me away. A pick of tracks from the nine:

I had no idea that there was a debate over it.

I mean I know people say different things but I kinda thought people let it rest at Nu-Metal.

I bought Disasterpieces this past December and it was awesome.
I also recently bought Voliminal which is......well the first disc is kinda boring and retarded but the second has some cool features.
 
I like the metal genre (Albeit older metal, i.e. Iron Maiden) but Slipknot never appealed to me at all. They just look like a bunch of screaming freaks to me. >>
 
EmpressCrystal: Wait and Bleed, Duality, Left Behind, (sic), Before I Forget, Vermillion, People=Shit, The Heretic Athem, My Plague, and Spit It Out are pretty cool, mostly some of my favorites.

Chaos Theory: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. May I ask which songs by them you have heard?
