Signature File Size

I've been trying to put on a new sig and every time I try it says that the file size is too big, and that the max file size is 9.8KB. 9.8KB is tiny. Plus, the two I have on now are about 100KB each so what's up with thaaaaat?

dunno i tried putting on one eairlier as well but it said file size was too big

Perhaps an admin changed the max file size or something? If so, couls it please be bigger? Because 9.8KB is so small...

That is definitely much smaller ... there was a thread stating heights and widths in pixels, 500> X 300^. Maybe it's been changed, I don't know, but I know that two of my pics are larger than 9.8kb.

I think that people that put on their sigs before the 9.6 kb limit was set got to keep their sigs that's why people get to put huge pics in their sig.


I got tenths of sigs and none of them has small enough file size even though their size meets the requirement

I've brought it to Darkblade's attention and he is currently acting to find out more and fix the problem.
