Without armor, Robert has an athletic build to his anthropomorphic rat-like body. His body is muscled over the chest, arms and legs, but does not look out of proportion. If anything, he looks rather handsome, for a Burmecian.

He stands at 6ft tall (6' 7" if you count the ears). His fur is pure white, while his tail is fleshy pink and furless. He has three fingers and a thumb on each hand with well manicured yet sharp claw-like fingernails. Long brown hair falls around his face and the back of his head down to his upper back.

His feet are also rat-like in appearance, four toes with similar claw-like toenails that are kept sharp, in case he needs to fight close combat. His legs are slightly more muscled than his upper body, but it's hard to notice as it is all lean, compact muscle.

His white hair flows down to his upper back, with a few strands falling along the side of his face. He gazes out at the world through blue eyes. His ears can stand erect or be moved depending on his emotions, much as many other animals are capable of. He had a long white muzzle which allows him to smell things more intensely than humans. His long ears can also pick up on more subtle sounds at greater distances than a human can hear.

Attire – When not wearing his armor, Robert dresses in a white dress shirt with a black, sleeveless vest that rests unbuttoned and open over the shirt. His pants are also black in color and are tapered down to his leg near the mid-lower leg with black cloth wrapping. He still carries his spear, regardless how he's dressed. He never wears any sort of footwear.

Armour – Minthril patchwork armor (minthril chainmail with dragon leather sewn in above, and fire retardant cloth sewn in on top of that.) The cloth covering is a four square pattern on front and back. The upper left and lower right corners are white, while the upper right and lower left corners are black. The upper right corner has a gold pattern of a dragon, and the lower left has a golden pattern of a large tree.

He has minthril bracers and wears a black lancer helm a top of his head. This helm sports silver wings coming out and around over the ear holes of the pointy helmet, protecting his long ears while allowing him to retain his animalistic hearing senses.

His legs sport dragon leather that covered from above his heels and up to a few inches below his knees. This leather, however, is softer and acts more like a shock absorber than armor.

Personality – Robert has several varying degrees of personality, depending on the situation, how well he knows the person he's talking to, and whether he's alone or with others.

He can verbally joust sarcastic puns with the best of them. He rarely ever allows himself to get mad, which often makes his sparring partner get agitated by his calmness. He prefers to remain calm, as showing hate, anger or fear are signs of weakness.

To his friends, he is supportive, friendly and often gives advice when he feels it's needed. he doesn't push issues unless they end up bringing about positive results. Should he fall in love, he is the type that is loyal and true.

He will defend his friends, family, loved ones and even innocent bystanders with his life if need be. But even in these situations, he doesn't waste his actions. He is quick to think and adjust himself to meet the needs of the situation.

While he is a dragon knight, he does not have a hate for dragons as some slayers do. He understands dragons and only seeks to kill those who purposefully endanger the lives of others unprovoked and not out of self-defense.

Above all, he is loyal to his homeland of Burmecia, and to his people. If his homeland is ever in danger, regardless of what he's doing, who he's traveling with, he will strongly suggest that the group heads for Burmecia. If they don't, he simply leaves to serve his country until the danger has passed.

He does not anger easily. Those who manage to anger him quickly learn to regret their actions, provided they survive the experience. Even when angered, Robert's fighting skills remain honed and focused, only his attacks are fueled by the strength anger provides and his attacks are more set to kill than to wound.

First Impression – Many people who meet Robert have two things come to their minds. First is his rat-like body, which many drunkards have called him 'rat face' on more than one occasion. Of course, that phase doesn't last long after he often effortlessly mops the floor with their faces if they decide to try and force him to fight.

The second thing they notice is that he seems to have a very calm aura to him. Even as a warrior, he is not overly prone to anger. He carries himself in a dignified manner as a man of honor and will always say hello to those who greet him.

Strength – Robert, like most Burmecians, has a great deal of lower body strength. The strength of his legs can launch him a good twenty feet into the air. His upper body strength is above average as he has trained in using different kinds of lances, spears and halliberds, some of which have a great deal of weight at the front end.

Vitality - Robert can take an above average amount of damage when compared to other trained soldiers. However, training as a dragon knight has given him a strong resistance to fire and poison, two kinds of attacks that most dragons use. Also, he is able to safely land from long falls due to his training and his body characteristics.

Speed – Robert's speed is average. He is about as fast as an average Burmecian. He's faster than a human due to his powerful legs, but among his own people, there are many who are faster. Robert prefers to use his strong jumping abilities to travel great distances, allowing him to cover great distances in a short amount of time.

Stamina – Robert shines in stamina. His training provided him with the stamina to endure long travels, hikes of over thirty miles in a day (with breaks in between every ten miles), mountain climbing (in order to reach the lairs of problem dragons), and a strong exercise regiment. He was trained to fight and to protect others, and especially trained for dragon slaying and dragon taming, meaning he has to be able to last long in a fight with a powerful and superior opponent or he'd quickly become dragon chow.

Reflexes – Robert is pretty good on reflexes. While he's not the fastest moving of his kind, his keen sight, strong sense of smell and sensitive ears are always alert. It would be very difficult for an enemy to sneak up on him unless they were very skilled in silent movement and moving downwind of him.

Fighting Style – Robert's fighting style includes use of various pole-arms and has been trained to deal with problem dragons, as well as raising and riding loyal dragons. He can jump to heights of 20 feet and drive his lance down with deadly power and accuracy, combining his own force with that of gravity. He fights honorably when faced with an honorable opponent, but in all other situations, he's a survivalist fighter. If the opponent has no honor, they shall be shown none in return.

Robert is comfortable with close quarters and moderate ranged combat. He can use his spear like a bo staff if faced in close quarters, and his kicks are extremely potent. They can knock an average human a good ten feet and have been known to break ribs upon impact if the opponent lacks the foresight to wear some sort of strong, resistant to denting armor.

However, his fighting skills are not solely land-based. He is a skilled dragon rider, and can command his dragoness to join in the fray. If the battle is to be taken to the sky, his dragoness is his means of aerial combat. He has trained her to attack with fire, claws and teeth, as well as being able to catch him when he vaults from her back to attack his opponent with his spear.

Weapons – Skilled in the use of various pole-arms, he primarily uses his family trident spear, named the Dragon Master. The Dragon Master spear he received was one that had been handed down from generations. It has several magic runes inscribed into it which gives it an extra 'bite' against dragons. The long shaft is made of minthril metal and also enchanted to be resistant to fire and melting. An emerald orb adorns the bottom of the spear and draws the souls out of dragons once they are slain, taming the spirits and allowing the wielder to draw upon their power.

What is unique about this weapon is not just the spear itself, but the orb. The orb can be removed and magically attached to another weapon, allowing Robert to use his dragon magics regardless of what weapon he's using, so long as he retains the orb. The emerald orb can only be held by a Burmecian. It emits a powerful magic sphere around it when unattached to a weapon that repels anyone but a Burmecian from picking it up. And while the spear itself can be destroyed, the sphere can only be broken by a Burmecian ritual done by the high priests and the current owner of the sphere.

Abilities – Robert is able to jump up to twenty feet and use his spear, body and gravity to drive down hard upon a target, dealing almost three times the damage that he would have done by simply attacking with the spear. This jumping ability also allows him to survive long falls, reach areas where normal people would have to climb to get to, and allows him to avoid ground attacks and ground-based magics like Earthquake. It takes one turn after jumping for him to descend down.

Also, Robert is one of a very few Burmecians who has been able to enter a Trance state. In this state, Robert can jump higher as well as rain down energy spears onto all enemies on the field, dealing powerful amounts of damage to those struck by the explosive energy spears. This state lasts for three turns and is brought on by a powerful build up of stress or emotion.

Magic –

All spells are Dragon-knight specific

* Lancer - This spell attack drains 10% of an opponent's current HP and MP and adds it to Robert's HP and MP. This spell consumes 10 MP worth of energy.

* Dragon Wind - This attack casts a shorter duration version of Regen on everyone in the party. The effects last for only three turns. This takes about 15 MP worth of energy to perform.

* Courage - This spell causes the entire party to become Berserked for five turns. This takes approximately 20 MP to perform.

* Dragon Rain - This spell deals non-elemental damage to all enemies as energy shoots up and out from the lance and then rains down on the opponents' heads. This spell consumes about 25 MP worth of energy.

* Dragon's Bane - This spell draws energy from one target and uses it to refresh the energy of the user and the party. The amount restored depends on the arcane strength of the opponent. All party members gain MP equal to 10% of the opponent's max MP. If the target is a dragon, then the dragon is also inflicted with Silence status and is dealt physical damage as well. This spell consumes 35 mana worth of energy.

* Summon Silva - Spell opens a magical gate which calls forth his dragon Silva. Silva sprays the enemy side of the battle field with poisonous flames. Deals high amounts of fire damage and inflicts Venom on opponents that are not immune to poison/venom. This spell can also be used to summon Silva for other purposes such as riding her to different places or using her to fight in aerial combat. Summon in battle costs 50MP worth of energy. Outside of battle, consumes 25MP.

Other Skills – Robert is skilled in dance and playing the harp. He's a fantastic cook and often hunts and forages for his food, using fresh ingredients in everything he makes.

History – Robert was born two hundred years since the incident between Gaia and Terra. Being a direct descendant of the legendary knights Freya and Fratley, Robert was raised to continue the tradition of the Dragon knighthood. There were many problem dragons who were terrorizing the countryside as well as attacking other, more docile dragons.

Upon his fifteenth birthday, Robert was sent out to undergo a ritual of adulthood. This ritual varied among Burmecians depending on their accepted roles in the kingdom's society. For Robert he had to accomplish one of two goals: slay a dragon, or bring back a dragon egg in order to hatch and raise it to become a rideable, tamed dragon.

After weeks of searching, Robert came upon two dragons fighting each other. One was a silver female mother defending her nest, while the other was of red and black color, attacking the mother relentlessly. Robert engaged the attacking dragon and just barely manages to not only survive, but also killed the dragon by driving the spear into the dragon's head. The emerald orb glowed as he landed the fatal blow, and he could see the life energy and soul of the slain dragon enter into his spear.

The silver dragon tensed up and held a defensive gesture. Robert could see the dragoness was badly wounded. Instead of going for the kill, Robert used the power of Reis's Wind, drawing upon the newly acquired power of the dragon's soul to heal the wounded dragoness. When the dragoness realized he meant her no harm, she used her tail to pick up the smaller of her eggs and gave it to him.

Robert returned and shown that he managed to accomplish both tasks instead of settling on just one. What he didn't know was that he was being watched the entire journey by a Burmecian spy, sent to silently witness his deeds so that there's be no way he would be able to lie in front of the courts. The spy verified his story, and Robert was accepted as a full-fledged member of the Dragon Knight order.

However, this order did not remain in Burmecia. any time one of the neighboring countries had dragon trouble, the Dragon Knight order sent several of their members out to deal with the problems. Once Robert's dragon hatched, he raised the baby female dragon to become his partner. While it turned out to be a very rough five years, he eventually managed to get the dragoness tamed and ridable, willing to fight when needed.
