Red Rings Of Death!!!

There are however cases when the game disc itself are faulty too. But in the case of getting the ring of red, it's due to the machine itself and not the discs.
 
It is pretty sad that microsoft has not fixed this. Were steadily nearing 2 years since they released it and the systems are still getting glitches. They tried really hard to get it out nice and early but they have been under such demand to get them out that they haven't made that great of an effort to fix the glitches not just refund them.
 
I've heard from a friend, this may well be false, that you are much more unlikely to get the red rings if you have the intercooler fan.
Has anyone else heard of this?
