Ok im about to start playing this game on the GBA (Again) but before i begin i want to make sure ive got the best possible team.

I was thinking of using

Warrior
Theif
White Mage
Black Mage

Any suggestions?
 
That is what I used and it worked pretty well for me. Thieves are nice because they are fast and often hit more times than warriors do.

is a good team that I used many times but another team I used alot was
Warrior
Monk
Black Mage
White Mage
both teams are good IMO

This is the team im currently using and its going pretty well. I find what the red mage lacks in mp hit makes up for in attack , if well equiped. The red mage acan pick up all the spells that you cant get with the others...well mostly.
 
I always thought that red mage was a hard class to use. Simply because while they are awesome at the begining of the game, then end up sucking by the end. That is because their magic only goes to level 2 and their attack ends up being medicore. They are basically a jack of all trades but good at nothing. They fun to make the game more difficult though, but I would not use them the first time I play the game.
 
there is perfect use for Monk/Master latter in the game... heck there is even use for them at the begining, Unepuipt everything from them and they are the best charecter...

Ive almost completed this game now. Its only took my about 12 hours and my final team was:

Knight
White Wizard
Ninja
Black Wizard

and they seriosuly PWN.

Next time i play it through to make it harder ill use a team of :

Monk
White Mage
Black Mage
Red Mage

:lol:
 
^ That'll only be -slightly- harder.

IF you want hard, Aeris, try this party:

A good team is:

Warrior
Warrior
Warrior
White Mage

Since all the magic casters are severely underpowered and only the warriors do well due to the screwed up settings of the game.
 
My theif actually always did much more damage than my warrior. And if you get flare for your black mage it will make the last battle much easier.
 
You don't even need to use mages, if you want easy play just choose 4 warriors, but armors and weapons are expensive in beggining of game. I think thief is a bad choice , better to use 2 warriors. Warrior have better def and more powerful attacks.

I s'pose you could use a monk instead of a thief aswell if ya want :P
