I just thought of something...

In KH1 Squall (called Leon) said that his world was overrun by Heartless some time before the events of that game. In the new trailer, we saw most of the human forms of the initial members of the Organization and then some. My point is...

Is the demise of Radiant Garden gonna happen during the game?

I wouldn't be surprised. Leon did say back in KH1 how things got effed up for his home (i.e. what we know now is Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion) "9 years ago", which is around the time of BbS. Maybe we won't see actual events of Heartless destruction, but we should probably know that somethings going on.

Ive been wondering about that
it would be cool if you could be part of the final battle in RG, something reminiscent of KH2's battle of against the 1000 heartless! =P that would be awesome

It should happen so long as BBS's in game story runs into that event. It would clear up that little hole as to what happened. One of the protagonists may even be involved with it somehow. I am speculating its Terra.

I would imagine so, I think this will actually be a pretty massive game on the whole especially since it's leading up to the events of KH so a lot will be explained imo, including that of Radiant Garden. I don't think there'll be a huge amount of detail on what happens but I'm more than sure you'll be told or shown what happens over time.
