Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, but I figure it's just as good as any other place. In most final fantasy games - on Nintendo, SNES, PlayStation, and PSP, the game format is the same. The main adventure screen usually shows either the game overworld or the fight screen. To see the sub-screen (with inventory, equipment, save option, etc.) you have to push the start button to access it. The main screen then becomes the sub-screen. But with my 3DS, it's a little different. The 3DS has two screens, not one. So, I can see both the adventure screen and the inventory/equipment/save screen at the same time - one on the upper screen and one on the lower screen. I just found that I can purchase FFIV for my PC off of the Steam website. My question is... my PC has one monitor, but is still the same kind of game as the one on the 3DS, but even though its on my PC, and I have one monitor, how does the format work with a final fantasy game on 3DS (two screens) on a PC (one screen)?

It's all on one screen like traditional FF games on PSP/PS1 etc. While it's technically an updated 3DS version of the game, they put the screen format back to the traditional format. Hope this helps :).
