These things are pretty frustrating. I've heard people tell me they got 3 minervas for beating them, but I never get anything. I get 5 magic points, no XP, gold, or items. Are there triggers in the game, that after a certain point, i.e., you are too high a level, have certain espers, etc, they don't drop anything? Are there certain conditions that have to be met while beating them? They have a different animation when they die, kind of like the Flans from the magitek research facility, not sure if that's normal. Also, I was unsuccesful after about 200 steal attempts, even with the sneak ring equipped. Impossible to steal from them? Thanks in advance.
