to moderators: whats so bad about one or two sentence posts? i mean i barely use the forum as it is so its not like im trying to get my post count up, hell just take away all my posts and see if i care. im not someone that trolls around on this forum all day like a number of people so pls lay off. If its something as simple as wats ur favorite color or some kind of help thread i dont think i need to take 5 minutes typing a freakn complex paragraph when i can get straight to the point and give a simple one. Im not angry or anything i would just like to know why u guys are so stricked about this sort of thing.

It depends on what the context is and what section it's in. Spam sections and non-post count areas typically allow one liners. To a certain extent one-liners can be tolerated in certain threads but it just depends what it's about, if someone's asking a question on something then you can't really expand on the post too much.

However, the large majority of threads could easily have points expanded on so people could quite easily post over two/three lines in most threads, it just takes a little bit of effort. Furthermore, should one-liners start creeping in the odd thread that should be avoided they'll start appearing elsewhere and they'll become more and more common - all of which look horrible.

Having experienced several forums, having the one/two line rule makes the forum look much better in terms of quality.

Please direct this question to an admin via PM, they will be most eager to explain the rule to you, but they feel it should be done in private.
