Well seeing as there are lots of World Cup fans, I thought it would only be right to make an official World Cup thread (which should be sticky).

With the World Cup started already, we can look forward to a feast of brilliant football over the summer. All of the world's best players will be representing their nation in the 2006 World Cup. Can Brazil repeat their 2002 success and win the cup for a incredible sixth time?

Personally I think Brazil will win it, they have the best squad and the most experience. But the World Cup does not always work out the way you think.

Even though they havnt played very well till now, i think Brazil is going to win.

But Argentina has a very good chance aswell.

i hope barzil wins. i noticed form the games i watched. the officiating sucks. alot teams have gotten screwed because of the horrible officiating.
