Note: Profile will be updated as character is played. This is a new charater so and I intend for him to be largely shaped by those he interacts with.
Name: Ryndel (Also known as VIX)
Age: Unknown
Race: Human(seemingly)
Appearance: Ryndel is a white male that stands at about 5'7" tall. His hair and beard look like this but his hair is brown and his eyes are a deep blue(and he doesnt have the paint marks on his face). His build runs about the same as the earlier picture.
Yeah I know, thats a picture from Tristin in King Arthur. But the only better picture would be one of my uncle and I don't possess one of those on my comptuer...
Personality: Ryndel has little human contact and thus does not have a very socialble attitude. He does understand others perfectly, but due to lacking contact is not sure how he should react in situations that are not life threatening. This will be the main thing that changes as the character is RPed.
Abilities: Ryndel does not know what exactly he is capable of. The only thing he has yet to notice to this point is that he ages at a rate that is not noticiable to even himself at this point of his life. Ryndel's abilities were gained through the years he underwent testing(was included some genetic changes). His abilities include enhanced physical attributes, such as aging slowly, enhanced speed, strength, and healing compared to the normal human, and the capacity to quickly learn anything and memorize things he sees. Beyound these Ryndel currently posses no other abilities physically or magically and has no actual training in anything besides his store of knowledge and survivability/wilderness know how.
The enhanced speed, strength, and healing rate are not supposed to be taken as a godly differance. All it is ment to be is the following:
Enhanced healing - Requires less rest to recover strength from wounds, diseases, and fatigue. The amount of time differance will vary based on how bad off he is.
Enhanced strength - All this is supposed to mean is denser muscles. This is no way means that as a 150 pound man he could easily pick up 5000 pounds, but it does mean he has a minor advantage over others in his weight class in terms of strength.
Enhanced speed - Faster reflexs, meaning falls down less and is able to catch himself and get out of some situations others wouldnt expect during fights.
Weapons: Ryndel does not own much in term of weapons. He carrys an old knife with a wooden hilt that he found in his homeworld long ago. The blade was sharp at the time of finding it and has yet to break, chip, burr, or dull. The handle on the other hand is old and worn looking, though it is undamaged.
Ryndel also owns a seemingly ancient gun, which he only posseses ten bullets for. This gun was also found in Ryndel's homeworld, and its potential when shot is unknown to anyone including Ryndel.
Bullets Remaining: 10
Essentually each bullet has a differant effect, usually having to do with an element or disease, seeing how he posses ten bullets(and I will be keeping track of how many are left on this page)and it is not possible for him to get more(unless someone throws a twist in, but it wont be me doing it), each of the bullets will be potent in its given element. This does not mean it will be potent agaisnt what he is fighting(shooting a fire element bullet at a fire elemental wouldnt do jack for instance) but you get the idea. As for the effects of what the bullet does, their random and if used the effect will be decided on by the person who started the RP(assuming that person is available).
Story: At the crack of dawn an unfamiliar sound ripped through the morning air. It was the peircing cry of a new born baby. As the sound erupted over the crowd everyone turned to see what it was. Moments later each of them scurryed back into their shackled homes. Newborns were not supposed to exist. New people would constantly be introduced into the community, but each and every one of them would enter fully mature. No one knew who created these humans, they only knew that they came from the so called god buildings and had no knowledge beyound their name and a few basic skills.
Minutes after the childs birth, the death knights came. They were named this because they rode black horses with firey red eyes and adorned themselves with dark black mail and a helmet which eye slots seemed filled with nothing but a black void.
As they arrived one pulled out a sword, walked over to the woman who had just given birth and put it through her breast, allowing the blade to sink to the hilt. He left the blade there, allowing her blood to spill out of her to the floor. A testment to those who did not follow gods will.
Another of the knights picked up and threw a dog across the street, taking the dirty blanket it was laying on and taking it into the room. There he picked up the child and put him in the blanket. The two left from the room, resaddled their horses, and rode back to one of the god buildings.
The boy was branded "VIX" that night. For the first twenty years of his life he had testing done on him. Eventually testing stopped due to insufficiant technology and some outside distractions nither of which VIX was informed of exactly. VIX was confined to three rooms in his life. One room was a large library, here VIX spent most of his time. Somehow VIX was able to understand what these words ment, despite his lack of being taught, and quickly grew to understanding his world in past times. The world had changed much since the publications of these books though, and thus VIX was unable to understand what exactly was going on in his present since he had no outside contact, and could not even see outside his limited living area.
By the age of twenty five, VIX's world was destroyed. He awoke to an open door and ventured outside only to find many of his kind dead and the world he lived in left in ruins. He spent around two years wandering, living off what food he could randomly find in the various buildings. This way of living ended when he came to the edge of town. Venturing into the open land he recalled the texts he used to read and taught himself to live off the land. Five years after his journey from the god building began, meaning when he was 30, he found a portal. After steping through the portal he came to an inhabited world. There he started a new life and began to build himself an identity as Ryndel. He never went into detail about his past, and settled to tell people he came from a far away little known town. After many years of living he seemed to not age, despite this single trait he seemed exactly like every other of the inhabitents, known as humans, that he met.
