New Comp

Hey peeps,

Im planning on getting a new comp, I currently use a Dell XPS M1330 with the following specs:

Intel Duo Core 2.0 Ghz
2 gbs of ram
nVidia GeForce 8400
Windows Vista HP
160 Gb HD Sata

Now for all you mac users, I don't want a MaC, if you like MaCs over PC's thats fine, but please I dont want this to be a PC vs Mac thread . However your opinions are just as good as anyone elses so dont get me wrong .

I want a laptop in the $1500-$3000 range, if you guys can reccomend anything I'D appreciate it. Im currently looking at the Dell XPS M1710, and the Alienware x15. The comp im looking for is mostly for gaming. I know desktops are better for gaming, but I can't lug around a desktop in college .

Sorry if this doesn't fall under the "help booth" catagory, I noticed the PC Gaming place, but decided that since it mostly about games and not really a place that I saw people asking for help I decided to post here.

Nice comp, but i'm looking for a more powerful graphics card, unless you meant 8800 GTX.

I've been there quite a few times, I do believe I mentioned it was one of my choices. Alienwares sport good parts, but I question their customer service and warranty.
