Never Played a Final Fantasy Game Before

As odd as it sounds I've never played a final fantasy game before. I'm planning to get a gameboy micro in July and want to buy Final Fantasy VI advance. Please tell me the ups and downs of this game.

Ups: Characters are awesome; the plot is amazing; the main villian is one ya love to hate, but hate to love; the GBA version loads Super Fast so you don't ahve to wait a while like the Playstation versions of the game.

Downs: You will become addicted to the FF series.

Oh wait...that isn't bad.

welcome and you should seriously get some more FF games.

I recommend FFVIII and FFX to start off with.

I would actually recommend FFVII to start of with but FFVI is a good choice. I'm currently playing through FFVI and it is really great. Some of the music is just amazing.

Hope you enjoy FFVI when you get it.

Only joking, I would start with early titles instead of starting with VII as people like to suggest.
