I don't know where to put this but everyone else posted their problems in this section so I figured I'd do the same.

1) Alright, so I've been graduated for about three months now (credit recovery school) and at first things were great. But now I find that never ending boredom has hit me like a freaking hammer. I'm trying to find a job, but most places nowadays only let you apply online. I registered at snagajob.com to help me find a job at stores that are currently looking for employees., but I only qualify to work at three out of like 250 stores. I would try to go out and apply at stores that don't show up on major websites but unfortunately I can't get around due to the fact that I don't have a car. I would walk to try and apply at store but I live in a pretty Spanish neighborhood and the only people they hire are mostly Mexicans and Asians. I tried to get an application at a local store and the employee I was talking to didn't even speak English.

2) The other thing I need help with is I'm finding it very difficult to get back into a good sleep schedule. I've been going to bed at like 6 AM for the last two months. I try and wake up early but I find a lot of times I sleep through my alarm.

Any advice on either of these things would be greatly appreciated.

For point 1, apply to job aid in whatever country you live in, or take the time to go to the closest shopping mall. I'm sure you can find something if you absolutely try to.

As far as point 2 goes, what works for me might not work for you.
Last summer I spent the entire holidays going to be at 8 to noon, everyday, sleeping my way through the day, to go out at night with friends.
I fixed it by simply.. not sleeping lol.
Here, you can do two things. One, you force yourself on your pillow and try to get at the very least 2 hours rest, or so, at around 2 AM. When you wake up, then, prepare a schedule outside of the house.
Spend the day outside, keep yourself busy, because you obviously won't fall asleep on your feet.
Get home early, and crash in bed whenever you feel should be your sleeping hour from now on. Odds are it'll take you a couple of minutes to fall asleep, but you'll undoubtly sleep through that night until morning, and voilá. Sleeping habits fixed.
Second thing is the same, without resting those two hours, if you think you can stay awake through the next day lol.

Well, you graduated, so now you have a Diploma (I'm not sure if you're in the States or elsewhere) or something equivalent. This should qualify you for many basic jobs at stores, unless there is something else holding you back. You're old enough and have a high school level education, so I think there might be something in your information on the website that's either wrong or automatically disqualifying you. So I'd say check out your information on yourself first.

What I did when I was in college was work at a rental car place. Going to the major ones should be possible with a person of your credentials, and to boot, the pay will be decent for someone your age. I know for a fact that this is the busy time of year approaching, so they should most definitely be looking for help. So I certainly think that's a good route to go if there is a rental car place somewhat near you. :ryan:

As for the sleep schedule, I wouldn't worry about it. Once you do get a job and/or go back to school, the hours will force you back into a sleep schedule. When I was working the aforementioned rental car job, I was working 2-10 shifts, and wouldn't be getting to bed until like usually 5 am and waking up at 12ish. But that was my hours, so that's the sleep schedule that adapted to me at the time. If you end up working mornings, that one night that you get to bed at 4 am then have to wake up early for work will knock you into that morning time sleep schedule very quickly.

Best of luck in finding a job sir! :awesome:
