Help Need help!

i am playing ff8 atm im on disk two and have to go to the orphanage
i played the game befor but got stuck on cereberess because i was using weak weapons .
now i got the cutting trigger , with rough divide and fated circle , but i want to get blasting zone so i can beat cereberes (plus i want to have used ever weapon in the game XD

but i was wondering where can i get the items i need for the flame saber, plz show me where on the map with a screenshot or so cause it will be easyer that way :moomba::squall::seifer::cloud:

You need 1 Betrayal Sword, 1 Turtle Shell and 4 Screws to get the Flame Saber. The betrayal sword is dropped by Forbidden or you can mod the Forbidden card to get the betrayal sword. The turtle shell you can get from an Armadodo but you have to be above level 30 I believe. Screws should be simple to get. It's hard for people to take actual screenshots of pictures of the game while getting any weapon really, so I hope this helps. Also I moved this into the Help Booth for you. ^^ You're sure to get better help if you post your help threads in here.

To be totally honest, Blasting Zone won't really do much more damage than Rough Divide or Fated Circle. Upgrading the weapon is a smart idea, but I don't think the little extra damage from the Blasting Zone will put you over the top. Mandi says it all for the Flame Saber. The Screws you can get from Geezards near and around the Deling City area.

I think there are other things you could do to help you beat Cerberus. Make sure Cerberus does not keep Triple casted on himself, that will earn you a slow but sure death. Stop everything you do to make sure to Dispel that immediately. If you have a Meltdown, use that, it will cut his physical defense, making for more damage. Don't use Thunder, he absorbs it, and magic in general won't work so well either. Protect and Shell on the party won't hurt either, Shell more so as it will at least it will cut down on the damn Quake's and Tornado's.

I think with this you should be off and running, if you haven't already beat him.
