Need help on getting Tifa's last weapon!

i read a walkthrough and it said that i need to go to the excavation place and dig up the key to midgar and then go to the slums and where that room is where the gun shots at you, you get it from there if Cid id in your party and he will fix it.

so my question is hay anyone acctually found the key into midgar?!!

and wasnt the slums where that room is blown up by that colum breaking?!!

please help!

I did. It wasn't easy. Pretty much you just dig in the area (in the direction) where the miners are facing. Best to get as many miners/diggers as possible, and spread them out. Then dig in the area where they're all looking.

do i look for normal treasure or rare treasure because i always get potions from both

I think we look for "GOOD treasure" or normal, I forget, but TRY EVERY OPTION!! What's a few hundred gil to a warrior like you?

it took me like 20 minutes to find it, it changes place, so search everywhere!

no you talk to the guy outside midgar, then he says there is a key, then go there to dig for good treasure

Choose to dig for good treasure and just dig in the burnt out fire bit up the ladder; south of the tent. Thats where i found it and on my first try.

Choose to dig for goo treasure. Now look
at the large crashed jet directly East of where the man in the doorway is
sitting. You'll see the bullet shaped tip of the plane broken off. Walk
directly below it and wedge yourself as close as you can between the tip and
the plane itself. If you dig here you'll find the Key to Sector 5 in the
chest in the morning.
