So what exactly is Namine? Or who's nobody is she? Not quite Kairi's Nobody but Not quite Sora's either...I am confused when I go over it, her control over Sora's memories is her connection to him but she was created from both Kairi and Sora because when Kairi lost her heart it went into Sora...hence Sora becoming a Heartless and creating Roxas.

So Namine is a bit of both of them...right?
 
Namine is a special Nobody. I believe it was confirmed that she was Kairi's nobody, created when Sora freed Kairi's heart from himself to save her in KH1. Due to this, she has powers over Sora's memories and those connected to him. She was created the same way Roxas was, which is why she doesn't have memories of Kairi's life like how Roxas can't remember his life as Sora.
 
Well, Namine was Kairi's nobody. Kairi lost her heart before Sora gave her his.

Namine has control over Sora's memories becaue (Im guessing) Sora gave Kairi his heart. And by giving up his heart, Roxas was created.

It's quite confusing though, but it's better that way.

Sora didn't give Kairi his heart, it went into him after the giant Heartless attacked the islands. Then at Hollow Bastion, he gave it back to her, losing his heart in the process, creating Roxas and Namine, which is why

1. She is Kairi's Noboby

2. She has control over Sora's Memories
 
Technically Namine is Kairi's Nobody, but Sora (inadvertently I guess) facilitates her creation and thus the link between Namine and Sora. That's what I've understood anyways :hmmm:
 
So that was what was up with him seeing her image? I didn't know that...

I guess the connection with Kairi and Sora's hearts gave Namine the powers that she has...

So was the product of Roxas and Kairi's connection, them being able to talk through their minds? Like what we see in the beginning of KHII?
 
Well I guess it makes sense that if Namine and Sora had a connection, Roxas and Kairi could have one too. But I think Roxas was trying to talk to Namine, but somehow ended up chatting with Kairi instead. To be honest, I don't know how that happened xD

It was actually Sora trying to reach out to Kairi while recovering his memories, using Roxas as a sort of medium. Sora wanted Kairi to remember him, and he gave her a hint (the first letter in his name) so that she would remember it.

Roxas and Namine seem drawn to each other, so the fact that Sora could reach Kairi through Roxas could be symbolic to the Namine-Roxas and Sora-Kairi relationships :hmmm:
 
well from what i remember namine is supposed to be kairi's nobody i mean near the end of KHII before the real final battle namine became completely one just like sora and roxas did so that confirms she's kairi's nobody, but i can infer she wasnt created when kairi first lost her heart but when sora gave up his to give kairi back her's so you can say roxas and namine were created at the same time( or something along the lines of that) but she was created by sora but came from kairi's heart
 
yeah, Namine is kairis nobody, born when her heart left Sora's body in hollow bastion
 
Vexen created replicas and there are only 2 know replicas as far as we know. Namine was an actual nobody, which explains why she could become one with Kiari again.

Vexen created the Riku Replica, which Namine sort of controlled by providing false memories so that it believed that it had to protect her, in order to fight against Sora.
