Hm I don't know if I am allowed to post this but here it goes:

Things youll need
a. zbattle.net program
b. ZSNES Emulator version 1.42 or 1.36
c.Find your favorite snes roms.:P

1.) Go to www.zbattle.net and download zbattle.

2.) Install zbattle.

3.) Make sure the emulator path and rom path are correct

You can click connect on start up so the program will automatically connect when it starts, I dont because you might need to make some changes.

4.) choose your user name and click connect. If you have problems connecting to zbattle you need to go here http://www.zbattle.net/servhelp.htm or press Ctrl+Alt+Del then click task manager then look for zbattle and click set priority high.

5.) Once youve connected to zbattle you should see this

6.) Look for the game you want to play (or start a game) and join. You can only join games that say Players 1/2

7.) Ask the person youre playing with wether they have 1.36 or 1.42 because if you have different emulators you cant play.

8.) Wait for the person hosting the room to click start, or if youre the one hosting the room you click start.
You will see youre ZSNES open up and start to connect to the other person.
remember you must have the exact same rom to be able to play

Connection Problems read this if you cant connect to another person on zsnes

You either have a firewall blocking third party connections or you have a router that denys connection to another port. You can very likely have both.

You need to turn off your firewall

Go to control panel and double click network connections.

Then look for the currently active internet connection you have and right click properties

The click the advanced tab and uncheck the firewall setting, should look like this

Once youve done that and you still can't connect, that means that you need to forward your ports.
For this go to www.portforward.com

then click forwarding
then click the router or firewall you have (for example mine was 1000hw from SBC) so I would click:

then scroll to the bottom and click zbattle

Thats pretty much all you need. Follow these and your on your way to online gaming.
