Here I will tell the tale, and stories of my time in the navy. Please hold all gay jokes to yourself, eaven though some of my stories sound more then gay enough.
The stories here will not be in order of happening, they will be in random order.
though I will try and keep the Boot camp, first, nad the boat second

At Boot Camp, I was appointed the troop number or 5.1.. that is company 5, troop 1.
I was in room 2, bed 06. thus, I was 512.06.
I was later given the nickname of *Jeger Jim* Transelated that is "Hunter Jim".
The reason for this, was that the day tha I receved the AG3, witch was the issued rifle. We where to do some exersizes with it.
some dismantling, nad reassembly. Being a Lego Freak, and weapon arsed my life, I mastered it shortly, and where able of doing it in a time taht rivaled my instructors themselves.
Not ony that, but I where one of the best Marksmen in the whole base. A base of 2000 reqruits, and.. well.. say 300 officers or so.
So. everytime we where to eat, we had to wait outside the Mess hall, nad when we where granted accsess, we had to shout.
"Good lunch [rank of officer]"
and s/he'd reply
"Good Lunch 51"
though the meal name varied.
BUTm what happened later on, where that I became the Troop mascot.
So, when the officers wherent there, I where to go out of the troop, and Shout.
"Good Lunch, 51"
and they screamed with all teire might
"Good Lunch, Jungle Jim"
I was renwned on the whole base. the first ever HUMAN mascot.
Later, as we had to clean out guns. Everyone hated this. but I loved it. So, I chraged the others a small sum, to do it for them.
"mmmm.. extra income"
not only this, but I am curious as hel, so at the time we where to leave boot camp, We where told that I was one of the ones to stick out the most, since I had 1000 questions at any time.
I was not the only one with a name.
we had:
- Romeo
- Blondie
- Fluffy
- Pus Pus ~ Kitty>
All these are male ^^

Later, after 7 weeks of training, and stuff. We where split up, and sent do different stations. me, had cone alot of electrical courses, and some mecanical. Be came the only Ship electric onboard.

KNM Rauma (KNM = kongelige norske marine ~ Royal Norwegian navy)
As I got there. alot happened. back and forth, washing down the freaking ship, every week.
this made it hard being in the 5th detail (electrical & mechanica) since we had 2 engine rooms, adn 4 other rooms. filled with oil and salt..
Well. the name Jungle Jim was forgotten, and a new name came up.. Since we all liven onboard, we became almost liek a small family..
a family on 30 persons ^^
I then became "Tjalvorsen" where "Tjalv" is a nickname of Hash. the reason, where jsut that my name rhymed with it.. nothing more.
There where some other names here as well.
Ill get into those later in the post.
so. One day, I got told taht I had to do a physical test.
I had t orun 3000 metres on UNDER 13 minutes..
at the time, my stamina could be equalient to a formal food potatoe. so I flunked the first time.
Though I was helped the second time, and passed.
Later I was sent in a training course, and because of this, I am not a "Smoke Diver"
that is a fire man.. yes. the one that enteres teh burning place, and puts out the fire.
the reason to why me, was because I was an engineer, I knew the layout of the engine rooms quite well..
So. today, I am a Millitairy trained Fire Fighter. That hs to look good on my Resumé.

We had one that we called *Greina* that will the nbe "The Branch".
the reason for this, was taht everytime we played soccer, he would miss the goal, nad hit the same freaking branch everytime. ^^

We had a "Rat". taht was jsut because he looked like a Rat ^^

At a time where the ship was at an overhaul (I wont go in the details)
We where put in some barracks.
One day, I hear ALOT of commotion outside the door. and the door slammed open, This Dude stood there.
he had obvioustly gone MAd with te camo paint.
The fun part is, that that is har ad HELL getting off.
enjoy the showers dude.

You might have heard of this thing, if not, read on.
There exists a small band-aid that you put behind your ear, and it will keep eas sickness away.
I had to use this thing.
It states "DO NOT GET IN EYES"
So. I out it on, and washes my hands.
However. Later that say, I scrach on it, taking it off, by noticing this, I put it back, and forget about it.
Later the day, I scratch my eye.
Eaven later that day, I notice I am ahving trouble focusing on bright things. Not thinking of it, I go to the toilette, ans I was in the need at taht time.
As I wash my hands, I look in the mirror, and see This
I show it to the medic on board, he thought at first I was brain damaged, though that was rueld out somewhat later on.
I was ORDERED to report to the medic on the base as the ship got back, so I go there. Only to be told that It is nto dangous, there is jsut a thing on that band-aid tha worked like and "expandor" for the pupil.
all is well now (I think)

A day I was walking, I look down in the shore, and see This
Yes, that is a water mine.. though the text means *Ufarlg* ~"NOT DANGROUS" so it was ok ^^

As an electrican onboard, I did alot of electrical stuff.. rather logical, yes I know ^^
though, when we do, we have to disconnect the power, and put up a sign.
Though that sign is taken away when the job is done.
