Tomara
Blue Mage
Name: Tamara
Age: 19
Race: Human
Class: Archer
Appearance: A little over 5 feet tall, average weight, tanned complexion from being outdoors so much, long blonde hair that's always in a long braid. Prefers green tints and earthly colours, likes being able to blend into her enviroment and does not want to stand out in a crowd.
Weapon: Bow and arrows. She made arrows for different situations (hunting, piercing armour), but hasn't had the chance to try them all out yet. Also has a simple dagger for back-up, though it's usually used as a tool.
Personality: A follower rather than a leader, but will not let people walk all over her. She is not very confident in her skills yet and tries to help others the best she can. Normally collected and calm, but sometimes becomes very passionate about things (these things usually being her future and family back home). She has a positive outlook on life and believes everything will turn out alright, as long as you have patience and work for a good outcome. She is a tomboy and likes spending time with other people, but gets nervous around handsome men.
Bio: Daughter of farmers. Since she is female, she can't take over the family business. Her future was either marrying into another family or choosing her own path. She chose the later and though she misses her family a lot, she has not considered going back to them. She now tries making a living as a merchenary. So far, she hasn't had any big jobs yet, actually, vermin hunting was the best she could get at this point in time, but perhaps the future has something big in store for her?
(Some notes:
When I create a character I like to make normal persons, I don't like super warriors with awesome skills, characters that are very extreme. I wanted someone with a normal past, since not everyone can be scientific experiment gone horrible wrong or a hero who saved the land from ancient savage dragons. In my humble opinion characters are supposed to grow while role-playing, you shouldn't tack everything that sounds cool on them and be done with it.
As for the character herself.. we share a few traits. Archery is my sport and my long braid is pretty much my trademark. And where the farmgirl part came from? I live in an area with a lot of farmers, even the people who don't earn their living that way are called farmers by outsiders. We often joke about it, we nicknamed our footballteam the "Super Farmers". So yeah, farmgirl...)
