Appearance (required)
Maladan is half elf, half human, but has retained most of his fathers (the elf) looks. His ears, while not as pointed as most elves, are still much sharper and larger than a humans. He is somewhat tall, around 5'11" and is very toned. He weighs in around 145 lbs. He has platinum colored hair which is pulled back into a ponytail, his bangs hanging losely over his right eye. He has a very handsome face, a thin jaw and sparkling blue eyes.
Attire (required)
He wears a soft brown tunic with white leggings and brown boots. He wears a green and brown camoflauged cloak most of the time. He also wears a pair of archers gloves that reach up to his elbows to protect his forearm from his longbow.
Personality (required)
A pretty laid back guy, he doesn't like to fight, and hates to hurt the ones he loves. But when the time comes, he's a ferocious fighter, and can be quick to anger in stressful times. He has a hard time talking with men and is much better around females.
Equipment (required)
He carries with him, at all times, a necklace given to him by his late human mother. It's in the shape of an orb with a candle in it. It is said to give light to those who need it the most.
Weaponry (optional)
He carries a longbow that he carved on his own when he was 12. It's maple, but when he was 15 he saved an Elven priest from a wild boar, and the priest blessed it. The bow is now dark purple with a blood red string. It's rare that it misses its target, and the bow and string cannot snap. He also carries a short sword made of steel and leather.
Armour (optional)
The only armour he wears are the leather gloves to protect his arms, and a leather body underneath his clothing.
Fighting Style (required)
He fights from the shadows mostly. He would much rather hide in the trees and act like a sniper than face a foe in direct combat. But when the situation calls for direct combat, he does not shy away from it. He fights in a very graceful manner, normally standing sideways to keep his foes from stabbing him through the chest or gut. He twirls his blade a lot, keeping his enemies distracted by the whirl of grey in front of them. He feints and thrust a lot as well.
Abilities (required)
As an elf, his atheltic and aerobic abilities far exceed a humans, but he isn't as good at them as normal elves since he is half human. He can still run faster, longer, and jump higher than most any human though. When he is using his bow, he can reach deep inside of himself and catch his arrows on fire, encase the tips in ice to slow his enemies, or coat the tip with electric jolts that leave his enemies paralyzed. It takes a lot of strength out of him and leaves him helpless for around 15 seconds, so he only uses it when he is in a group of people or is confident that he is well hidden.
Magic (required)
He was never very talented at Mage School, but can do some basic and potentially dangerous spells;
Fireball- Can summon a small ball of fire. Useful for distarcting your enemies, lighting torches or a campfire and causing little havoc. Little force is exerted in this spell, but he is still woozy for a few seconds.
Lightning- Summons a small bolt of lightning to numb and sometimes paralyze your opponents. Useful if you opponent is sending water at you, or your opponent is in water. Little force is exerted in this spell, but he is still woozy for a few seconds.
History (required)
He was born an accident. An elf male was sent out on a mission to spy on a human tyrant that was gainingtoo much power too fast, but he got sidetracked and fell in love with the tyrants daughter and they had a child, Maladan. Fearing for the childs life, as well as his wifes and his own, Maladans father sent his wife and child to the Elven Forest to hide until his return. He never returned, only sent a letter telling Maladans mother that he had been caught andwas sentenced to death. Stricken with grief, Maladans mother soon grew deathly ill. She passed away when Maladan turned 1 years old. As a child ,he played with the Elven children like he was one of their own until he was about 10. That's when the other children realized he was different, that he couldn't jump as high, or run as far or a fast as they could and he was soonshunned by the children and picked on. At 11 he ran away to live in the forest, hunting with only a knife and his instincts. At 12, he carved his first longbow and hunted with that until he was 15, when he chanced upon an Elvish priest being attacked by a boar. Atfirt he charged the boar with his knife, but ended up being theown backwards, dazed and bloody by the boars tusks. The priest imbued Maladan with Magical abilities and Maladan drew an arrow and lit it on fire, shooting the boar in the face. The priest then blessed Maladan, giving his bow special properties (as explained above). He returned to his Elven home and lived out his life up until now. He is now 17 and living with his friend Allesborth.
