Appearance – He is built strong. He has a clean face that looks kind and charming, but hides demonic tendencies. He has medium sized muscles and a top heavy body that looks regularly proportional in some way. His skin is a light tan color that is very alluring. He has very untidy blond spikey hair that reaches his shoulders and silvery eyes. His nose is sharp and straight and very dignified. His eyes are slightly squinted, giving him a very serious look to his face. His face is slightly circular, but not perfectly round.
Attire – He wears a Navy Blue T-Shirt with a cargo jacket over it and cargo pants, both also navy blue. He has a pendant of a dragon around his neck that he needs to control his Twilight side. He wears strength enhancing gloves to aid him when he isn't wielding his sword.
Armour – He does not wield Armour, rather he is casually dressed. He deems armour "Unnecessary"
Personality – Very cold. His stare alone can strike fear in even the most hardened hearts. He seems to deem everyone and everything around him useless and obsolete and thus tries not to interact with anyone. He, however, can't stand to see people in need and rushes to help them. He would rather see you alright and hate you, then see you near death and hate you. He is rather nice to children, though, and hopes that one day they can change his outlook on life.
First Impression – You would think him a heartless demon who only wants things for himself. You would not want to approach him in fear of him taking a swipe at you with his rather large wicked looking sword.
Strength – He is quite strong, despite his looks. He can wield his Broadsword at very fast speeds for its weight, but still not faster than a one handed sword. He can punch through solid rock if need be it.If he charged enough power, he could reduce a boulder to ruble. He cannot lift things heavier than himself while his pendant is on.
Speed – He has average speed. While holding his sword, he would rather his opponents come to him, as he charges quite slow while holding it. While not holding it, he can run at around 27 mph which is while he usually gauges an opponents strength with his fists beforehand. He can maintain this speed for 7 minutes before stopping.
Endurance – He can take punishment quite nicely. His pendant allows him triple the endurance of an ordinary human at the cost of his sanity while not wearing it. In essence, this means that he can last around 1 week where as a normal human can last 1 day, in retrospect.. He can last weeks without food or sleep and can resist most poisons due to the pendant.
Reflexes – Holding sword: He has very slow reflexes. Close range, they wouldn't be necessary due to his incredible swordsmanship, but long range fighters would get him down using the right tactics.
Fighting Empty Handed: He is very agile. He can dodge very fast and almost seems to be a blur while evading. He uses these tactics to close the distance between foes before using quick draw (sword tech)
Fighting Style – He has two. Fighting with his sword, he relies on brute strength to overwhelm his opponent. He even goes as far as to try and break his opponent's weapons to disable them to finish them off. He usually attempts a decapitating blow before trying to cleave their bodies in half
With his bare hands, he sends a flurry of punches at his opponent. He aims all over and never seems to stop. These punches are around 3/4 the strength of his sword slashes due to his strength enhancing gloves.
Weapons – Demon Tsurugi, Ehrgeiz Gloves
The Demon Tsurugi is a very demonic looking broadsword that he wields in battle. It resembles Cloud Strife's weapon in Advent Children, only much more demonic in appearance. It has numerous spike like protrusions coming from the blade of the sword that aids in the slashing. It allows Messiah to either slash or rip his opponent while attacking. The blade is red, with silver lines that run on both sides of the red. It also has an engraving that says "To the beholder, I offer the ability to rip, tear, decapitate, and ravage thy foe with mine power" The blade is roughly 6 ft long and 3 ft wide
The Ehrgeiz Gloves.
They are strength enhancing gloves that allow Messiah to deal heavy damage with his fists alone. They allow quick, rapid blows to be delivered. They resemble fighting gloves, only with metallic braces where the knuckles are, strengthening the blows it delivers.
Abilities – Riot Of Twilight, Close Combat Twilight, Pendant Enhancement, Death's Eyes
Riot Of Twilight is more of a curse than ability. When Messiah loses his pendant or it is removed, he enters this state. In it, his hair turns blood red and sharpens and shoots upwards. His strength is greatly enhanced,whereas his muscles bulge to twice their size. In numbers, he grows from a 10 to 25,to the point where he wields his overly large broadsword with one hand, making it seem as though he could wield another one. He loses all sense of reason and just attacks anyone in sight. He wont stop until the pendant shines or is returned to his neck. The pendant is special in that it will return automatically after he has killed everyone he though there was around him. The pendant will only return after he has either killed everyone in the vicinity (at least who he thinks is there) or if he suffers a great wound or is knocked out in this state. The pendant does not revitalize him nor does it heal him and his sustained damage is kept during this state. He even recieves more damage making this state more dangerous. He can't take the pendant off voluntarily due to it being bound to his soul and can only be removed from an outside force.
Close Combat Twilight is an ability that allows Messiah to send away his sword from his back for the remainder of the battle in exchange for double speed and strength with his hands. His damage output is greatly enhanced and he gets the ability to expel energy from his hands in short bursts or a long, wide energy blast. The minor blasts aren't that powerful, dealing enough damage to at best knock someone off their feet or deal minimum damage to their body. They travel far, at least 2 miles before they extinguish. The wide beam can travel much farther, up to 7 miles, but has to be focused more. It has the power to completely penetrate thin to medium thick armour and can push someone into something else, to further damage them.
The Pendant around his neck gives him his endurance and CCT ability. It enhances his life energy in exchange for sanity loss when it is off. Also gives him a slight speed enhancement when wielding his sword.
Magic – He only has curative magic, in the event he gets hurt. When not wanting to used CCT (Close Combat Twilight) he uses strength increasing magic to strengthen his sword slashes.
Spells: Gift Of The Oasis: A regenrative skill that allows him to heal minor to medium wounds (ie: A bruised leg or a large gash. Cannot regenerate limbs) In order to cast it, he must stand perfectly still for 5 seconds and chant this prayer: "Oh moon of twilight, Heal mine wounds now!" After usage, he must catch his breath for about 5 seconds (same as casting time) in order to use it again or continue battle.
Twilight Empowerment: A spell that can be used in the midst of battle. He need only put his hand on his sword and chant "Twilight Empowerment" in his mind to used it. Since its casting time is so short, it provides only a slightly sharper blade. It can be prolonged by adding different phrases such as "Zwei, Ein, Drei" to prolong the effect and enhance it. After usage, he shows no physical disabilities, although he cannot use it again until he scores a hit do to it being a malicious spell used to increase pain as dictated by Twilight divine law, which he is bound to. "Zwei" increases the original spell effect time from 10 seconds to 12, "Ein" from 12 to 16, and "Drei" from 16 to 24 seconds.
History – Messiah was born 22 years ago in Twilight Dawn. He was born to a man and woman who just wanted to raise a son that could grow up to help them destroy the realm. They raised him and taught him the art of combat in a very hazardous training regime that nearly cost him his life numerous times. He did not live a normal life, never seeing the light of the outside world until he was 18. What his parents did not know was that he had secretly acquired the pendant he wears while training. He was on the brink of death and actually going to die when the pendant promised him his life and the ability to end his suffering. His accepted its proposal in exchange for his servitude and company as it needed a host to continue to exist. It gave him the power he needed and in his first ever Riot Of Twilight, he killed his parents and single-handedly destroyed the peaceful realm, becoming its first hostile inhabitant. He now travels different worlds, looking for thing the Pendant needs, The Demon Tsurugi, which he stole from The Heavenly Goddess after murdering her and the Ehrgeiz gloves he claimed from the cloister of trials on a demon infested planet. He is currently searching for a next broadsword, which is supposedly the sister if the Demon Tsurugi, the Luminaire Katti....
