hello there i saw that you could get the masamune as a weapon but i've looked around the internet and i can't find where to get it from can any one help me

Kill Gilgamesh, think he drops it or montblanc gives you it as a reward, its a hunt

There are two ways of obtaining this weapon; either complete the Gilgamesh hunt, (remember to steal the Genji gloves) or create it by selling certain loot. I recommend the former option, as Gemsteel is difficult to obtain.

ah thank you i was wondering cus i looked at the ign walkthrough and it didn't even list it as a weapon

Yeah, I recommend Gamefaqs as your main website for gaming help. Its better than IGN, even though some of the faqs are listed in both websites. If that guide didn't list as a weapon, then its either complete crap, or not completed yet.
