Sounds like u have the same kinda thing going on as i do for drawing.
I get really into drawing and making art for a few days then i just totally get bored with it and play games or read/write stuff. Weeks later i get back into it for awhile or whenever i get this awesome idea about something i wana draw and thats when my art sky rockets.
Same for gaming, just take a break and when ur bored outa your mind u can always turn to a good game to pass the time and enjoy it.
