So I just found out about this game (slow, I know, not like me at all). It's for PC, 360 and PS3. I've never been much of a LotR fan, but there have been a decent crop of LotR games, and this upcoming one looks to be very promising.
It's made by Pandemic Studios, the same guys behind the Star Wars Battlefront games and Destroy All Humans games. The basic premise behind the game is a what-if scenario: what if the Fellowship failed and Sauron got the ring back? He takes over Middle Earth, of course. So you pretty much get to tear the shit out of everything. I really cannot wait to run through the Shire and massacre hobbits. And yes, you can actually play as the Nazgul and Balrog even, it's not just going to make you play as boring Orcs.

But youtube just kills video quality, so if you wanna watch something that shows how beautiful the game is, go to GameTrailers or IGN. Personally I have high expectations for this and can't wait to get it. If I don't have a 360 by the time it comes out, I'll just get it for PC.
