Let's Play the Original Final Fantasy 1!

Hello there everybody! I am Krungoid and I recently started my let's play of Final Fantasy 1. I will be playing the original as it was intended to be played, so no save-states here. My party is a Fighter, a Red Mage, A Thief and a White Mage. I try to balance being informative as well as entertaining, but any criticism, whether it's harsh or generous is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

As I'm sure you all know, being that this is the Final Fantasy forums, Final Fantasy on the NES is a turn based JRpg from a time when there really wasn't another game like that(sans, of course, for Dragon Quest.) It launched not only a franchise, but also a genre.

Many fans of Final Fantasy picked the series up at number 7, missing out on how fantastic the NES and SNES Final Fantasies were, if this applies to you I urge you to pick some of these games up and play them, or watch my LP of the very first one.

Episode 2 went up today, and I took in a lot of the feedback I got on the first one and incorporated it into this one, most of the random battles are cut out, the audio balance is better and it isn't as long, I think overall this one came out much better. In this one we take a trip to Pravoka, pick up the ship and head over to Elfheim. I hope you all enjoy, and thanks again for watching

You could put the videos up here too if you wanted, rather than just the links?

Episode 3 released! In this episode we make a run through the Marsh cave and head off to kill Astos! Thank you all for watching!

 
Episode 4! In this episode we return Matoya's eye to her, revive the prince and finally head off to get all those sweet mystic-key items! This episode took a lot of work so it's out a bit later than I would like, but I'm very happy with how it came out!

Episode 5 out today! I will be alternating uploading this series and ninja gaiden, with something special on Sunday!

In this episode we take our TNT to a stinky dwarf who clears out a canal for us(How nice of him!) then we head through the Earth Cave and kill the vampire!

Episode 6 makes it's triumphant debut! In this installment we finish off most of the Earth cave and kill that dastardly Lich!
