Episode 1 - Alright (SuperGrass)

Welcome to a brand new series! Donkey Konga is a pretty gimmicky game in the sense that you play with actual bongos! Well...plastic bongos that plug into the Gamecube controller port but still.

This is a music/rhythm game (that I incidentally found while looking for something to do). It's made entirely by Nintendo, but the music is naturally made by whoever sang each song. There'll be a song per vid, so short and sweet is the name of the game folks!

Be warned of the following:

- There's no commentary. It's a music game so it's all about the songs!
- The Japanese have weird taste in music...cheesiness incoming! Some alright songs mixed in too though. Maybe that says more about my taste in music? :s

As for this episode: Alright by SuperGrass! Need happiness without the word Happy being thrown at you every 2 seconds (Have a guess which modern song I'm talking about)? Here's the answer.

Hey all, here's a wee bit of Canned Heat for you! I sang it and everything for this game! Not really...it was Jamiroquai :s.

Not too hard but it doesn't stop me going off the rails at some points! Make sure to chuck the earphones in for these vids imo. It improves things 10-fold :)

I love this song! The singers are camp as hell and annoying to watch (a trend of older singers from that era?) but the song is great.

It depends on if the Hauppauge will co-operate or if it was just down to the thing not being able to record ps1 games on the ps2. This seems to be a common problem on the interwebs so...we'll see!
