I came across the old Legend of Zelda cartoon from the 80's on youtube earlier today. And I was excited because I used to watch that show when I was younger. So I watched an episode.

And I think it was one of the cheesiest cartoons I have ever seen. XD Someone seems to have replaced Link with a thirteen year old girl.

Ah well, me and my friend had fun making fun of it.

But now he won't stop saying Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Princess! And I'm about to punch him.
 
OMG.......I REMEMBER THAT. Only episode I remember really though, was something with skeletons and mace bombs or something, and Link passing out on some hay and going 'Kissssss me...' or some scary crap like that xD


Unless that's in the youtube link up there, cause I didn't click on it, cause I have dial up and it'd take forever for it to load for me %D

Lol! yeah this did not age well. Watching it again kind of ruined my childhood memories of it. XD But it is fun to make fun of it now. Maybe I should find Captain N and the Mario Bros Super Show.

lol yeah I gave into temptation and am watching the first part now just for the hell of it......wow....yeah, this show really didn't age well at all xDD

AND YES. MARIO BROS. I think I'll go look for that myself too xD

The Zelda cartoon I loved at the time but looking back on it it sucks badly, same goes for Captain N: The Games Master.

The Mario cartoons weren't too bad though.
 
My respect for Link just dropped 50 points. Zelda should've smacked him upside the head with his sword.

LOL! I can't believe Gannon used to scare me! How did one of the best video games get one of the crappiest cartoon ever? But then it did only run for 13 episodes.

I just watched a Captain N episode. It was more tolerable than Zelda, but still cheesy.

Here's the basic run down on Captain.
-The main villian is a narissistic giant brain
-The villian sidekicks are an egg plant and a guy who is disturbing to look at
-The main character is just a typical lead
-Princess is a typical girl
-It's funny when Mega Man talks because his voice is god awful
-Simon seems to be modeled off of Jay Leno, and Castlevania fans should not watch this cartoon.
-Kid Icarus, forgot about that game, but he's kind of a cute little guy but it's a bit annoying when he puts icus at the end of every word.
