Dirge of Cerberus Just finished DoC, few questions...

I'm pretty sure I never got the secret ending, simply because I only had one secret file lol.

Anyways, do your weapons and such get carried over if you start again? Just wondering because I got Ultima Weapon right at the end, when I had the Death Penalty, so didn't need it anyway.

Points only get carried over on the hardest difficulty right? Or do they on normal aswell?

I got the Gold Moogle thingy after defeated the 100 enemies, and sold it, is it worth anything else other than selling? Just wondering because all the better stuff (like bayonet rifle, that machine gun, elixor etc.) are only worth 10gil, but this was worth 35000, so I dunno.

On the character viewer, noone is there, do you have to unlock them during the game or in the mission mode? Also, those things you have to shoot throughout the game, what do they unlock?

Okay. Those things that you shoot throughout the game that look like some sort of large pill or something are called "Memory Capsules". If you shoot all of those and obtain the all the Omega files (which all of them are not in the ShinRa Mansion), then you'll see the secret ending after the credits. I'm not sure about the Golden Moogle thing... I haven't obtained that at all... Well, if you start over, I believe most of your stuff will dissappear... It's been about a year and a half since I've played it, so you must forgive me for my foggy memory. ^^; Well, Ultima Weapon.... I haven't got that either. I don't have the money for it at all. But it will not come with you even if you start over, I believe...

Well, this is all I can remember for DIRGE. I'm gonna play it some more and help you find all the locations of the capsules and the Omega Files, if you want me to. Good luck obtaining most of it! Just ask me any other question if ya need help.

OK Peace Maker LadyRex your memory is more than a little foggy. I play DOC often and have a more recent account on the game. First of all in order to get the secret ending you need to get the seven G files and the three well hidden omega files and you get to see it after the normal end scene. Also heres a great bonus Spoiler.

After you view the bonus scene load the first chapter when you play as chaos and get close to Omega without taking flight to the next section. Change to your sniper rifle and aim beneath omegas wing and look for a small objext floating in mid air a fair way beneath it. Shoot this and you can view the bonus ending in the event viewer.

In order to use the character viewer and such you need to shoot, hit or cast magic on the special colored capsules throughout the bonus missions.

When you start a new game after playing in normal or hard you start in ex hard mode with all the bought items and gum upgrades passed over.

The golden moogles is only for selling like the bronze and silver moogles which are both ultra rare drops from enemies that sell for good amounts.

That about covers it. Yes I know I'm a DOC nut whose finished the game 100%.

I have 2 'G' files, I know I missed one in that room where the platform in the middle is rising though.

I have one 'S' file aswell, there anymore?

Not sure if the other file I got is an Omega file though, it's a dark grey colour in the menu, so can't select it to read.

I thought to see the secret ending you only need the 3 "G Reports"

Although it's been a while, but that's the only requirement I remember that you need, 'cause I remember seeing it myself.

Arrg silly me, I got the g files and the Omega reports mixed up. You have to get the 7 Omega reports (you get them easily just by playing through) and the three hidden G files.

I got the G files and the Omega reports and all the capsules. I'm doing the extra missions now, but I'm stuck on Mission # 5 or 6.... I can't get to the white capsule, nor can I survive long enough to get through. Can you help me out? ^-^;
