For some odd reason, online Java programs (e.g. pogo.com) are refusing to run on my computer. I run windows 98 on my computer. When I download the Java program (online or offline versions) for my OS from the Java website, everything says it downloads normally, but when I try to activate them, litarally nothing happens. If someone can, please give me some help on how to resolve this problem.

Could possibly be that Windows 98 is so outdated.... might wanna consider an update.... bad... or it could have nothing to do with the OS and more or less the games on the site, they may have been updated to only play with an XP or Vista Java version, those are just a couple ideas.
You can't afford an old copy of Windows XP Home Edition?! Or you might be able to go to microsoft's website and download the Windows 7 Beta..
