Do any of you watch Japanese Dramas (J-Dramas)? Anime is good, but I think J-Dramas are good also! Here in Japan we have so many dramas airing every season. Not all are interesting but I have a few favorites. Korean Dramas (K-Dramas) and Taiwanese dramas are also interesting. www.mysoju.com has a TON of asian dramas and asian movies with subtitles so you should check it out! My favorite Japanese dramas are: Hana Yori Dango, Hanazari no Kimitachi e, Majo no Jouken, Zettai Kareshi, Abarenbo Mama, and Tokyo Wankei. My favorite Japanese movies are: Death Note Movie 1&2, Waterboys, Nana, Crows Zero, and Hana Yori Dango Movie. Have you seen any dramas? :)

I'm more into Korean drama's rather than Japanese drama. As goes for J-drama, I like: Hana Kimi, Absolute Boyfriend, Nobuta wo Produce. I rather stick to Crunchyroll stuff, but my fav. K-drama's are: Love Story in Harvard, Stairway to Heaven, Goong, Witch Yoo-Hee, Dal Ja's Spring.

As for Taiwanese or Chinese, if it isn't wuxia, then I tend to back away (except sweet relationship and silence).:P

The only J-drama I've watched in its entirety was My Boss, My Hero, and I enjoyed it alot. The plot was pretty far fetched, but I didn't mind since the show was just brimming with excellent humor. Actually a couple moments even had me bawwing, especially the end where Sakaki has that big showdown in front of the school. The J-movies (that I can remember) I've seen are:

Ichi the Killer (love that one)
Death Trance (Tak Sakaguchi is fucking hot, and Dir en grey OST was awesome)
Versus
Battle Royale 1 and 2
Tokyo Zombie (love tadanobu Asano)
Kikujiro (Beat Takeshi is awesome)
Hana-Bi
Zatoichi (the new movie, with Beat Takeshi)
Visitor Q (most perverse and hilarious thing I've ever seen)
Suicide Club
NANA (I love Mika Nahashima, so naturally I had to see this movie, still haven't seen second)
Ringu (and all the sequels)
Tokyo Fist
Tetsuo the Iron Man
Kamikaze Girls

Only Korean movie I've seen is Oldboy and I thought it sucked.

I prefer Korean or Taiwanese dramas. I find asian countries make them better,in my humble opinion anyways.....but im partial to the looks ...im kinda fickle I love a pretty face...

Are there any websites where I can view these dramas guys? I use Youtube, but they dont always put up the first episode. Thanks guys.

I've seen many j-doramas..like:
Kimi wa Petto[in which played Jun Matsumoto] and the storyline was pretty nice[I've read the manga first, then saw the drama],as he was into his character very well..and falling in love with an older women after he was saved by her and let to stay at her house as her pet..*giggles*
Hana Yori Dango[I liked the drama more than the anime...or the manga] as the plot was goo,the actors were very good at playing their scenes and lines..
Lovely Complex[really nice]
Koizora[the drama was WoooW!!...I've read the manga as well, but the movie was even better,I cried so much at it..I would gladly give it a 100%!!
Iguana no masume[good drama, kind of sad..and a little creepy in the same time]
It started with the kiss[I saw the anime as well..good.] even tho the heroine int he drama wasn't very pretty and stuff,it was worth it watching it..as it was very pleasant and funny!
Death Note 1,2 and L changes the world...-very good..as well as the anime,it was good to see live actors on the stage...:D *shivers*
THEN-Taiwanesse:
DBY:Devil beside You[very good drama, funny and such..I like Mike HE and Rainie Yang[they play good together..] and it was really nice as I read the manga..and this one is a total drama[as it happens lots of things which can be possible inr eal life as well..as it has a sad and memorable ending..]

These are mines which I remember and they were really good,as I recomand to everyone else...^^

Why Why Love?[same actors, almost everyone which was in DBY..

Oh I love Jdramas! So far I've watched Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) and I've read the manga and seen the anime for that as well. I've also watched Gokusen, 1 Litre of Tears, and now I started on Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. I like the shoujo ones because I'm such a sap. I really want to watch something new and exciting, so if there are more Jdrama recommendations, I'm welcoming it with open arms :).

Note: 1 Litre of Tears isn't called 1 Litre of Tears for no reason. It will make you BAWL your eyes out and it's based on a true story. I highly recommend it.

The only J-drama that I've seen was called Mop Girl, which is about a very clumsy woman who wants to become a wedding planner, but is forced into a crime scene-clean up job because of her clumsiness. To add on to that, she can travel back in time a whole day in order to stop the murder of the person she's cleaning up after. It was only a short 12 episodes long, but with it's mixture of comedy and drama, it was a pretty entertaining experience. I should probably watch more J-dramas.
