By easier what do you mean?
You need to get pulse ammo, dragon fang and adamantine. Which you can get from refining or mugging varioud beasts. As far as I know thats the only way to get the Lion Heart.

You can get energy crystals from some Elnoyle in Esthar apparently, I didnt know this until Davetold me but yeah, you have to talk to some dude somewhere (when you are on your way to see Laguna for the first time) and you w=end up having to fight an elnoyle, drops 4 enertgy crystals at a time. I was welldoing it the annoying way >_> (too refine into pulse ammo....obviously)
Adamintine is easy, just refine the minotaur card and you get 10
I get my dragon fangs from blue dragons on the island closest to hell
If it was too easy, there'd be no point in it being his final weapon, although tbh,it's not all that hard anyway, it's just frustrating when monsters don't drop what you want them too
