The Inheritance Series is amazing in my opinion. I really think that this was a great book series (can't wait for the third book to come out :woot: ), but that's just my opinion.

What about you guys. Share your opinons by all means on this series. I only have 1 request: do not give people hell because of their opinons. If they like it they like it; if they don't, they don't; leave it at that.
 
aren't they making a move "eragon" which is the book trilogy? or is ergon on some other trilogy?
 
The first book is indeed being made into a movie, which should be coming out over here next month. Not sure of other places.

It is a awesome book series. It was like lord of the rings, but I could actuall get into it. I hated lord of the rings [books]

I heard that the movie will come out decemeber 15, so I can go see it for a 4 day late birthday present:lol:

Yeah, the movie Eragon is coming out. I can't wait! I so wanna see what they did for that stuff. I got an idea of it from the trailers, but I wanna see the movie :D
 
My birthday is one of the best, because usealy a movie based of a good book comes out. The other fact is, I get double the presents everybodyelse does because all the good stuff has been realesed^_^ Now the trouble is here, my says if she dont like the previews, she wont take me to watch it. That would suck. My dad however, said he would more than likly take me if he had the day off on that saturday. But he says he dont like going to thearters, so I dont know what to expect>_<

My birthday date is on the 11th, whats your girlfreinds?:D
 
Inheritance is a great series. I read Eragon in about a week and was immediately hooked. Eldest was good, but not as good as Eragon, to me. I think Eragon spent just a little too much time pining for Arya, but it was all right.

I love fantasy series like this, where I can imagine the towns, the characters and the battles as vividly as if I were watching a movie. Speaking of which, I'm definitely seeing the Eragon movie when it comes out. I just hope they haven't changed too much. I already see two differences. Eragon's hair isn't supposed to be blond (should be brown), and Arya's hair isn't supposed to be light brown (should be black)!
 
Ok, I don't know about you, but after watching the trailers, I am not psyched to see Eragon. According to what I saw, the made Saphira a greyish-blue colour, gave her BIRD wings, and made Eragon and Arya BLONDE! Do movie directors have any clue as to stick to a story?

But anyways...

I've just read the Eldest Book for what seems like the billionth time. I love the little insights into Nasuada's life, but I'm not big on Roran's story. I loved Ellesmera though, great place. Loved the elves, but absolutely LOATHED Vanir. He was such a jackass. Bloody elven pride...
