Playstation Inbuilt PSX emulator in the PSP?!

I've never done it, but it sounds legit. The emu's might cost $ cuz it is a store and all. But I don't care, I'd love to see FF9 on my little multi-tasker.

Oh, and stay away from PSP emu sites, cuz ur PSP needs an old firmware that allows homebrew files. I learned that the hard way...
 
Yeah, it does cost and all, and you can also buy PSP games, which makes everything so much easier, but all I want to know is how to do it
 
There isn't any inbuilt PsP emulator. It's possible that the Rom's you download are in PSP - game format which is .ISO.

I myself have custom firmware, so I download my PSX-Games.
 
you're so lucky! I bought my PSP when it had firmware 3.71, and I'm afraid to downgrade cuz there's a 99.9% chance that it will fuck my PSP up, so...
 
Mine was 3.71 too, but I downgraded and it worked. Of course, the way I did it isn't recommended if you prefer to keep your fingers and hands intact.
