If Aeris Lived...

Every single time I play FFVII, I just feel a real bond with Aeris and Cloud. When she died, I was shocked, upset, and sad. I heard rumors that you could bring her back to life or prevent her from being killed and tried numerous times without luck. But if she had really lived or came back to live, would the story have been as good? Aeris's death is what made this game so powerful, that it could actually give you a feeling of remorse and anger. It was sad and heartbreaking to see a character like that die. But stories can't always end happily ever after.
