Anyway, the first PC games I played were Doom and Heretic (still play them today actually) and after those two I got into Doom 2, Hexen, and Caldera.
On ID's end; Quake 3 rapidly became a big favorite (never really got into 1 or 2) and Raven followed up with Elite Force 1 and Elite Force 2. I've played other games over the years, but the ones mentioned here are always the ones I go back to without getting bored of them.
Anyone else played those games, or in the case of Quake 3, anyone customized them to the point of unrecognizability?
