Information on Emerald Weapon :
Level: Unknown
HP: ONE MILLION
MP: INFINITE
Experience:50,000
AP:50,000
Money:50,000

His normal attack does about 7,000 damage and has a move that damages you depending on how much materia you have and it is very important that you do not have more than 5 materias on your party. He has 4 independent attackers, 2 on his left and the other 2 on his right. The yellow ones steal an incredible amount of MP and the blue ones deal some decent damage. 2500-3500. But he is strategically more easier than Ruby Weapon.

How to defeat Emerald Weapon:
Try to stay alive the first round, then W-Summon Knights of the Round and Let the other characters Mime it until he is defeated.

Can I defeat Emerald Weapon within 20 Minutes:
Yes, [ you need to mime Knights of the Round ONLY 6 times and then try to use OMNI-Slash + 4x Cut for the rest of the battle. ( Omni-Slash does about 100,000 damage and 4x Cut does about 40,000. Let another character mime it and let one guy heal those 2.]

How do I Stop the 20 Minute – Time Limit – on Emerald?
You need to morph a ghost ship found in the underwater reactor. ( The transparent hallway where you can see the whales and fishes )

When you morph a ghost ship you get a guide book. Now go to Kalm and speak to the old man ( Ancient ) and he will give you the underwater materia.

What Materia Should I equip when fighting Emerald Weapon?
Knights of the Round, Mime , Underwater Materia , HP Plus (Mastered) , 4x Cut , Final Attack + Pheonix or Life2, Quadra Magic + Demi and that’s it. Putting anything else would be suicide.

Things You need
1.12 Hero Drinks 2. Barret with the Limit 3 Ungarmax 3. High hp to survive the hits by Emerald weapon. 4. Be sure to make Barret’s Limit 3 Ready 5. W-ITEM

How to defeat him:
Ok First let the two characters beside barret cast W-Item on Him on 3 rounds after and let barret the one to heal them between those rounds by a megaelixir and then after the Hero drinks try to make Barret use his limit 3 Ungarmax and you will realize that it does incredible amount of damage and just keep it at that pace and he is a goner. Just make sure to hax your way through and let emerald weapon attack Barret until another Limit gauge appears and so forth.

Alright, here's how it should be:

Criteria

Underwater Materia - You don't need this, but I really suggest it. Makes the 30 minute time limit go bye-bye, and it's really hard to beat EW in less than 20. You can get this by morphing the Ghost Ships in the Underwater Reactor passageway (before the last elevator)
Knights of Round Materia - If you don't have this mastered, don't fight Emerald. You will get your ass kicked so fast.
Mime Materia - Honestly, this isn't a requirement, but it's really nice to have, makes the battle go by a lot easier.
Omnislash - Ok, this is a must-have for Cloud. It hits 15x, and if your strength and attack are high enough (Ultima Weapon would be really nice to have here), then you can easily do 9999 damage per hit, which is like, loads of damage per turn.
HP/MP Plus Materias - Ok, these things do a lot of good in this battle, especially when mastered, because they can raise your max HP/MP by 50%, and that's something that can always be looked upon as good.
Megalixers - this is great to have, especially when your mage or summoner runs out of MP as it instantly restores the party's health and MP, giving you a huge boost.
Turbo Ethers/Elixers - Your mage and Summoner will eventually run out of MP, and need a lot of MP for this battle. If you don't have these, then you lost the battle before it began
W-Summon Materia - Ok, this also isn't a major requirement, but it does mae the battle go by quicker, and makes it less trying on your patience

Party Criteria

Level 80+ - if you aren't level 80, your boned, no arguments: you're dead
1 Mage/Healer - If you don't have a supreme healer here with Cure-All equipped, don't go into battle. you will lose. The best choice in my opinion would be Vincent, he has fairly good magic abilities and can defend himself pretty well too.
1 Summoner - MUST HAVE KNIGHTS OF ROUND FOR THIS ONE! if you don't, then you are definitely dead. For you're summoner, have a maxed out KoR, and hammer him continuously. Pheonix would be an asset at all times too. You can count on a few people being KO-ed in this battle, so doing Fire damage with Life2 abilities is a great thing to have.
1 Mass-Attacker - Cloud would be perfectly suited for this part, especially if you have Omnislash. Nanaki (Red XIII) would be good too, since his Cosmo Canyon limit break is nothing to stand up against (Omnislash is better though).

Well, that's pretty much it for the criteria, here's the strategy:

Encounter the great green sub-thingy that dubs itself the Emerald WEAPON. Make sure your guys are maxed out health and magic, or don't go into battle.

When you face Emerald, you'll get into a battle with a thing that looks like its about 20 metres tall with 4 gray blobs on its shoulders. We'll get to those later though. Depending on when your characters are ready, you should use your first turn as such:

Attacker - Attack
Summoner - Summon KoR
Healer/Mage - Cast Regen on your whole party

After you do this, you should prepare for some mean-ass random attack from Emerald, which will probably bring your guys down a lot, really close to the yellow part or in the yellow. Have your Healer cast Cure3 on ytour whole party, which should bring your health back up or close to maximum health. If you have your mage with a maxed out MP Plus materia, this will be no biggy. It only takes about 54 magic out of 999, so it's not that bad.

Keep this up until the gray blobs turn into blue and yellow. This is where the battle really begins. Those things have this insane ability to take away your MP (the blue ones) and severely lower your health, possibly deep into the yellow. Take them out with Knights of Round. This not only assures their death, but damages Emerald itself, which is a really lucky thing for us.

When your guy casts KoR, have everyone, even your healer (after he heals everybody), use Mime. Mime is a great asset in this battle, even if it isn't required. It makes the battle a lot easier, and it assures you a quick victory. This means free KoR 3 times in a row! it doesn't get much better than that! that means that you can cast KoR a maximum of...20 times in the whole battle! More than enough to take down Emerald or anything you go up against.

Emerald will continuously revive those colourful eyes of his, so keep an eye out for them and deal with them appropriately. They are nasty pieces of work, so whenever you get hit by them, use Elixers and Turbo Ethers to restore your health and MP.

Basically, you just go on like this. That battle itself isn't that hard, just very long and takes a lot of preparation before-hand. Just remember that Emeral isn't a pushover and isn't to be taken lightly. Don't lose your cool and just be patient.

Emerald WEAPON Stats

ok, Emerald WEAPON is a really annoying SOB, so be patient. His stats are as follows:

Health: 1,000,000
MP: UNDETERMINABLE!
Strength: around 160-170
Magic: 220
Defense: UNDETERMINABLE!

Wow those seem like hard ways to beat Emerald...

What I did

Make sure that all characters have 9999 hp.
On two of them, link only and exactly 2 materia. On the other person, do whatever you want but make sure they have 9 or less materia.

Attack Emerald with all you got...limit breaks and KOR are good.
*DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO KEEP EVERYONE AT 9999 hp!!!

Emerald will eventually cast aire tam storm which will do 1000 damage for every materia that each person has linked.

That will put your two people with 2 materia at 7777 hp... LUCKY 7's
This means that they will each attack around 60 times for 7777 each hit.

Get this a couple of times, cast KOR and mime, Emerald goes down easy.

Awww, thanks, but he can be poned in the same (or similar) fashion as Ruby, right? But I will take Hera Ledro and Sephy-sama's word to heart. Thank you, you guys. Without you, I would have 2 less sources.
