Hm... Question

Just wanted to see what you though about buying the first object available in the bazaar goods. The forgotten... (whatever it is called).

Personally, I bought it, and saw that it did increase the chances of getting rarer loot, but dont really find it "too useful", just "somehow useful"

I'd have to probably go with somewhat usual also.

Since I bought it as soon as it was available, I never really had much experience to compare the loot dropped with and without it.

But I'm sure it did help though...

I choose the last one, I had the gil for it, but I never bought it. It sounds like a good item though.

I can't say, really. I still get the same stuff off monsters before I bought them but then again I do not keep track of every loot I get so maybe it does work. I just don't notice it.

If you don't get it, and the other 7 BTW, you'll have a much harder time getting some of the rarest items in the game, like adamantite, serpetarius, gnoma halcyon, etc. PLUS without the canopic jar you'll probably never get high arcanas to drop!

I agree,I didn't really notice a huge amount of rarer drops after getting it.BUt I stopped keeping track after a while,and when I went to sell some loot I noticed a lot of items I hadn't seen yet,so that renewed my faith and I started getting the others for the ultra rare item drops.My problem was the Diamond Armband.After equipping it,I think I got a record number of Rust Knots!!!!

At the beginning of the game I didn't find it very useful, but near the end you need the forgotten grimoires to get items for some really good bazaar items. Also without them you can't get the canopic jar, but I didn't really find this very useful as I already had enough High Arcanas for Tournesol.
