I am new to high-definition television, but my brother is not. I bought a high definition TV on the night of January 25, 2008. My brother bought his in 2004. I got my first home experience of high definition on January 29, and I have loved it. The first program I watched in high definition was a WSPA news Channel 7 local news program.

Standard definition programs may not look as good on an HDTV as they would on an SDTV. Playing a PS2 game on an HDTV may not be the same as playing a PS2 game on an SDTV. It is not recommended to play a legacy (or old school) console on an HDTV.

Um, I'll move this to the general technology section since it voers more than just the FF movies

And, I really don't see the difference between HD and none HD, my dad tried to show me using a football game as an example - the grass is clearer Wow! I needed to spend 400 pounds on that

Well, here in Mexico have a HDTV is kinda useless. Almost any broadcast company shows the program in HD; all programs are still on SD.

However; while playing the difference is very obvious. I clearly remember the first time that i play on HD ( 'Gran Turismo HD' ) and i was pretty impressed by the huge difference.
