Anime Heroman

I started watching this and at one point,i found out that it was published by square enix,i was like "you serious??" its not bad,it starts out slow then the storyline gets intresting,who knows how many episodes there will be in the future,this just came out this april. The storyline is below

Orphaned American boy Joey lives with his grandmother, working at a restaurant in the West Coast city of Center City (based on Los Angeles), while going to school. Upon hearing of a new toy robot called the Heybo, Joey believes that getting one will make his life better, turning him into a hero to protect his friends and family. However, he cannot afford to buy it on his meager salary. His luck changes when he picks up a broken down Heybo abandoned by a school bully. He tries to fix it, naming it Heroman, but does not have any luck in getting it to work. However, when it gets struck by a bolt of lightning, it transforms into a giant robot, just in time to save his friend Lina from impending danger. Now, Joey and Heroman are Earth's only defense against the evil insectoid Skrugg aliens, unknowingly summoned to Earth by Joey's science teacher.
There are slight differences in story between the anime and manga series.

CHARACTERS

Since the series was started by stan lee, the storyline and characters are american but still pure anime, we got joey,heroman,psy,lina, professor matthew,vera,william,nick,grandma,Gogorr,Ezzui(manga only),stan(basd on stan lee). i wont go in details about them cuz the storyline kinda talks about some of them,watch the anime if u wanna know.

RECOMMENDATION

should you watch it? give it a try if your bored,its a new anime and theres only a few episodes as of now,it starts out slow but it gets pretty intresting later. I will tell you that the characters are pretty poorly developed with no background. Some might say that they dont like it cuz the storyline takes place in America,anime has usually a setting in asia.

I used to keep up with this show because it reminded me of the cheesy cartoons I used to watch as a kid (that and Joey makes for good trap material). Believe me when this show is cheesier than the cheesiest of cheese, though it was sort of fun for a while (like Joey trying to yell in an epic manner when all he's really doing is pressing a giant button over and over again). Not all that interested in it now.

but now its intresting trust me, now joey is going on a date with that sexy lina,will has vanished to the forest,the skrug has been defeated,and a new threat.and heroman is an alien maybe???
