Help with my tattoo!

I am, and have been for years, considering getting a Final Fantasy related tattoo. I've tossed around so many ideas that I can't think straight anymore. The problem is, I like so much about the series, I don't know how to single out one aspect that I want to permanently display on my body. I've thought about an entire FFVII crew (the main characters that you play as) perhaps across my back in some sort of line. Maybe I could start with Cloud and Sephiroth somewhat back to back, with Aeris next to Cloud, holding a flower basket, Cait Sith somewhere in the background between Cloud and Aeris, and Red XII facing away from, but on the side of, those guys. Vincent, Tifa, and Yuffie on the other side. Probably a chocobo and a moogle... maybe even a cactuar for good measure, somewhere in there. Then, either the FFVII symbol on the front cover above them, but kind of mingled together, possibly the actual words Final Fantasy VII.

You see where I get into trouble? I keep adding and adding.

So, I thought, maybe simplify it. My three favorite characters are Cloud, Aeris, and Sephiroth. So, maybe just those three? But in what kind of positioning?

How about just Cloud and Sephiroth back to back, a duality type of thing. But that leaves out my beloved Aeris.

Then there is the idea of Cloud and Aeris from God knows what picture...

I'm fairly positive that I want to stick with just FFVII characters because that's my favorite game and I don't want an entire body tattoo of just Final Fantasy characters. I love the games and all, but that's a little much for me.

I've even considered just putting "FFVII" on the back of my hand or something... but I don't know.

This is where you all come in. I need help, and I need it bad! What tattoo should I end up with? Which pictures should I use? Keep in mind that I would like them to look as close as they can to the video game without looking pixelized. I also don't want Aeris to be dead.

I would love to hear your feedback. If you're an artist, maybe you could even draw an idea or two up for me.

You could always go with the classic meteor logo.
Or, you do Cloud and Seph back to back with Aeris' face above them or something. Maybe if I get bored I'll photoshop a concept. I'd draw it but I dont have a scanner

For the love of God don't. I wouldn't want a tattoo myself and you can please yourself but don't get a tattoo based on a computer game.

You won't be considered cool or awesome or whatever as you'll just be ridiculed, especially if you stick a Chocobo on your back. If you have to have one then make it a symbol of some sort like the one used in the titles of DoC or something that can't be connected to just Final Fantasy but my advice would be don't.

but his snake-like body makes it nice to cover chest and arms and such...

After the shit I had in my life the FF series has been a great escape from the crap. I have 2 FF tats to kinda remind me of my childhood and the great time playing FF games here they are. Got them when I was 15 and 16 so the quality of them is a bit shit but I havn't taken any updated photos in a while of my re-inks.

If you knew me even the slightest amount you would know that in no way do I care in the least if I am considered "cool", or if I am ridiculed. My love of Final Fantasy VII is one of the few in my life that has stayed consistent for my entire life, ever since I first popped the disc in my PSX, not to mention it has kept me out of trouble on so many occasions.

I appreciate your input, but my mind is made up. I want a tattoo that reflects my passion for the game, and many of the ideas it represents and makes me feel. It's for me, not for anyone else, so let them think what they want.
