Help with final battle on FFIV Advanced

I have a team of Cecil, Rosa, Yang, Kain and Rydia. A mix of white magic, black magic, pure strength.

But is this a good enough team to face the final group? I tried to get the Lance off Plague for Kain, but I fail each time for that, so Kain won't have one of his strongest weapons as he's goes into the final battle. Is that something to worry about?

I just want to know these things:
- Is this is a game? <-- I don't even know what I was meant to type o.o
- What are the recommended levels for taking on the final boss?
- What are the best characters to use?

Help will be much appreciated.

(WARNING: I 'm going with the Final Fantasy Chronicles vrsion of FF4, so some things may sound diffrent)
OK, It may work, but I used Edge instead of Yang. Read Below!

First try to have Edge steal from The boss. the item u stole reduces his attacks, but this isn't required. have cecil then use the crystal. this will make mr. boss change forms, letting ur attacks to hit him. after that, have cecil attack normaly, Rosa use holy and heal when nessacary& have Rydia SUMMON Bahamut. (Meteo takes to long) Edge can then Throw your strongest reserve weapons, and Kain can perform his usual Jump attacks. (GO KAIN GO!!!) keep your MP's up and just repeat this patteren. oh another thing. the boss has an attack called the big bang that will blow a chunk of HP out (damage in the thousands)& remove all positive status effects. his Meteo attack is a joke, doing only 900 dmg and not even hitting the entire party!
