So, I just got a new computer, and I want to push it to its limits. I heard that you can overclock your CPU and video card to make them run faster. I looked around the internet to see how I could go about doing this, but all I saw was stuff about increasing the voltage. I'm not really sure how to do that myself, so, could anyone guide me through it?

Processor: AMD Anthlon II X2 220 2.80GHz

ATI Radeon 3000 graphics

I would be careful with that. It's a good way to overheat your computer, and it has a tendency to cause stop errors. When my computer first started giving me shit, a lot of people were getting the same stop error I was, but it was because they were overclocking. I won't tell you not to do it, because it can be done safely, just a word of warning.

Also, I don't know how. :monster:

Not sure how you're not finding anything on the internet, but I know it's done in the BIOS. Same with TTT said, you have to be careful. It makes your CPU run hotter than it usually does so you'll have to make sure you're keeping it cooler. GPU overclocking (in my opinion) is pretty useless because it really doesn't make it too much better.

I found people talking about it online, but they all knew what they were doing, and I don't. <_<
