The Boy Who Speaks of the Wind
Well, I was kinda bored, and I thought this place was perfect to post this thread. I want to meet a lot of people around here so I can talk with them more often. I mean it. I'm going to post all of the interests that I can think of to see if I'm the kind of person you would like to have as a friend.
Oh, I'm terrible at this. I just wanna meet friends so I don't feel alone in this place. Even if it came down to this.
Anyway, here's my list of interests. I hope to meet people -- lots of people -- in this thread.
FF Games
I -- I loved the very first one. I got stuck on one part, so I restarted after consulting a walkthrough. helped me tons.
II -- Interesting storyline, though I've heard people calling the battle system "asenine." I admit it's very different from other FFs, but if it's fun, I like it. Period.
VIII -- I loved it when I played it the first time, even if I didn't have a Memory Card. When I finally got one, though, I lost the first disc! As for the contents of the game, they're pretty decent.
IX -- Favorite FF of all time, perhaps because it's the first one I played. The soundtracks. The plot. The characters. Gave me memories that could last a lifetime. Too bad i never passed it, since it was borrowed.
X -- It's the first FF I ever passed, and I still love it.
Other games
Warcraft III: The Reign of Chaos/The Frozen Throne -- I loved the plot and the gameplay. To date, I choose the orcs over anything, though I tend to play as the Alliance from time to time.
WWE SmackDown vs RAW -- I loved all of the installments except for 08 and 07. 09 was an improvement since 06, and 2010 passed when I could create my own storyline. I'm a WWE fan, though not as big as I was in 2007.
Summoner -- One of my first PS2 games. The graphics and the loading time sucked, but the plot and the battle system were interesting enough that I passed it multiple times. Give it a try if you ever see it, unless you favor graphics and speed over everything else, in which case don't even bother.
TV Shows
All WWE shows -- Though not as great since the departures of Superstars like Chris Benoit and RVD, it tends to be great sometimes. I'm not too big of a fan, though I don't mind watching the shows when they're on.
And uh, well, I'm not going to give a huge explanation on the following shows, so here goes: That '70s Show, Scrubs, Hell's Kitchen, House, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Becker. I'll update this list when more shows come to mind (and if I'm not lazy).
Anime
You probably been waiting for this, eh? It's not a big list, so here goes.
Konjiki no Gash Bell!/Zatch Bell! -- I know some would hate the dubbed version, but that's the one I watched that got me into it. I watched almost the entire Faudo saga on English subs. I just wish the creator didn't break his hand. Oh well. At least the manga has the real ending.
Ranma 1/2 -- Began in the '90s, canceled in the '90s. It was such a good anime, it lasted 163 episodes. At least the manga has a true ending. Too bad you have to buy it from the store (if it has it).
Lucky Star -- A good friend of mine back in my forum got me into this. The cuteness of the four girls just wowed me.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya -- Good anime, I suppose. I only read as far as the chapters OM have. Oh dear...
Dragon Ball/Z/GT -- Need I say more?
(If you can make suggestions on what I should read next, feel free. I'm more into fighting manga, though I wouldn't mind if it had some romance. Comedy a must! Feel free to use my list as reference. I don't wanna sound too demanding, though, so don't do anything if you really don't feel like it
)
About myself
I'm a nice guy, real friendly. I can keep secrets well and I'm sort of good at giving advice. I have many flaws, some which I won't state here. But I'll happily admit my flaws if they are as obvious as a bull in a china shop.
I'm a Catholic, but I really respect other people's choice of religion. I don't mind debating with anyone as long as it doesn't break any friendships. But I really don't have to, since I don't tend to judge....usually.
Sorry for rambling on. I just want to get noticed, and have more friends. Sometimes, I see someone and I want to send a PM, but I wouldn't want that person biting my head off for doing that. So instead, I rather meet people in a thread like the one I'm making.
