I was curious if this thread was made before but I didn't see anything through the search bar. This thought came to me an hour ago after my child headbutted me right in the face and nearly dislocated my nose. It's still throbbing really bad 🤕

Anyway, have you broken/dislocated anything before? Came close?

I can't watch anything that shows people's bones being broken or twisted around! Gives me the heebie-jeebies! :dead: I've never broken anything before nor can I remember a time where I came close to doing so. Though I'll part with a somewhat funny story: My husband broke his ankle at a metal concert once when he was in his last year of school. Missed his prom & had to graduate from school on a gurney with help from the fire department. The town he lived in was fairly small so a lot of people remember 'the kid who graduated on a gurney!' Lol!

Aaaaaand go!

If you can't watch anything that shows people's bones being broken but are you alright with the craziness in Mortal Kombat? haha I know it's all just not like realistic people but the gore can be pretty crazy. hahaha Awww that sucks that happened to your husband but it's cute everyone give him that little memorable accident.

As for me, I have never broken a bone and I pray to god that I won't EVER. Just image a part of your insides just being broken and not sure if it can be restored or not....It's SCARY!! People be careful!

When I was younger, I fell off some play equipment and fractured my elbow. Well I say "fell" but there was a kid with a steak knife and I was trying to get away, haha. Anyway, I remember my dad just telling me to deal with it because he didn't believe that anything serious had happened. When my mum saw me a few hours later however, she went absolutely crazy at him and took me to the hospital where I got a cast.

I got so many presents and stuff afterwards. Think he was a bit guilty. So it was actually kinda worth it :tearjoy:

The second bone I broke was just below my wrist. Like the two bones in your forearm. It was at a family event and I tried to do a back-flip off a hmmm... I can't remember if it was a fence or a trampoline. Anyway, I had never done a back-flip before maybe, and the ground was concrete. So you can imagine what happened next, haha. I slipped and it was either gonna be my head or my hands that hit the concrete first, so I put my hands out in front to break my fall.

That one was painful. My right hand was out of commission for a while. My teachers at school didn't even make me write anything for like two months. Just had to sit there and listen. I still get a sharp sensation in my wrist when it gets cold though, which sucks.
