A new British Crime Thriller starring Micheal Caine as Harry Brown, a windowed former marine living in South London who, after his best friend is murdered and the gang leader responsible walks free, decides to take the law into his own hands and act as a vigilante, brutally taking revenge on all the young thugs involved.

The film has gained positive reviews and four stars from Empire, with Caine's performance gaining praise, this looks like a promising film.

So what are your opinions? Anyone interested in and/or planning to see this film?

This film just reminds me of Gran Turino with Clint Eastwood and Terence Stamp in The Limey. Its seems like the older classic actors are getting into mad younger action movies to boost their status somehow. I mean, Kevin Bacon was in one called Death Sentence, where his song is murdered by gangs and he goes on revenge. Same as Gerard Butlers new movie Law Abiding Citizen.

Gang revenge movies seem to be all the rage now and Im getting bit bored with them now. As for Harry Brown, nah Ill pass. I prefer Caine being old and wise in films such as Is There Anybody There?, Cider House Rules and Little Voice.
