yeah, i got the game years ago, defeated the game in one sitting the first time (i had no life at the time, lol, high school)
but my leveling guide is for the most kick ass party >_>
my party is either cloud, cid, and barret, or cloud, cid, and yuffie >_>
but your party can be anyone.
first off, you don't need to save "all" your elixers for the magic jars, just two, you can dup items with the double item materia, wikki it >_>
but two places two level, first in the caves at the end on magic jars, you'll hit lv99 rather fast, after that? you know that air ship sunk in the ocean?
yeah, go there, in the hall where you fight rude and them, and the room behind it, morph everything! items to up your stats
the mega all materia and morph on everyone will make it much better
oh, and why cloud, cid, barret as my main patry? 10+hit limit break >_>
why yuffie? her speed, while in lucky sevens she'll get five-ten turns before anyone else >_>' that's it.
