It is to be expected the artist of all 3 of those designs doesn't make too many original works. He had also milked Cloud's design and Squall's.

I really do like Nomura's designs, but yeah, there's vast similarities between different characters. What were the original designs from the SNES version of Garland and Golbez though? I think Nomura based his stuff off what was already done by Amano for the early FF games at least >.<
